God Is Always More

“For God is greater that our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.” 

1 John 3:20

God is always more. Immerse yourself in this truth, and it will most assuredly revolutionize your life. God is always more. Your grief is overwhelming. It seems as though hurt and disappointment are eroding your inner being. Your heart almost physically aches. In that moment, remember that God is more. He’s more than grief could ever grow to be. He’s above it, and He’s so comfortably in control. How can that be? Because He’s more. But the deal is sealed. It’s all over. The present situation is final. Cast these thoughts out from your mind because God is more! He’s more than your situation! He’s more than your fear, more than your loneliness, more than your desire to give up, and more than your loss. His love is more. His grace is more. His plan is more. His joy is more. His peace is more. He knows you deeply, more than you even realize about yourself. He knows what He’s doing. How can we know that for sure? Because our reigning King if always more!
