Within The Struggle

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the Day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6
God gave us relationships with people, some for a time and some for a lifetime. Those friends or perhaps that man that He molds to fit into our lives forever sometimes comes with struggle. God introduced you to the greatest blessing with this person but Satan couldn’t stand it. He found an area that was the most sensitive, the one area that had the potential to hurt and cut the deepest. He began his pollution and it began its purpose to erode and spoil the beauty of God’s plan. The rescue does not come from each other, however, so stop looking to the other person to fix it all. Only God has the view, the power, the emotional strength and the unconditional love to pick up the pieces and remold the relationship He wants for us. Any plan we consider will only disappoint, frustrate, and hurt devastatingly. Only God can restore the broken, damaged, and scarred. He assures us with the promise that He’ll never abandon what He Himself formed. He began a union of beauty and He will not remove His Hand. He will continue to work it toward His glory-if we just give up our control. In the meantime? You are to simply love that person the way God loves them, as unwaveringly and compassionately as you can, trusting God to heal the painful wounds.
