Where To Put Hope

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:30-31

If your hope is in your desired result, you will most assuredly falter and faint. It will continue to hurt. The situation will continue to frustrate and disappoint. It just gets exhausting. We keep hoping, yet nothing changes, nothing moves toward what you want to happen. There’s nothing in existence more tiring. The difference comes in where your hope is. If you put your hope in God, then you will always be content. God is faithful. God knows and even crafted the most glorious plan-one far greater than the one you’ve been pushing for. Though it may not be what you thought, it is the best.  Of course, in the meantime, it doesn’t seem so beautiful, but this is why we need to hope only in our Protector, not even necessarily in what He can do for us but simply who He is. He is Savior. He is Sovereign. No one loves you like He loves you. He considers your feelings, considers what you go through even before it happens. He never rests from calling you to Him and His carefully molded plan. If you put your fragile hope in your King, you will be satisfied and so very much renewed.
