True Love

“The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love-so you can’t know Him if you don’t love.” 

1 John 4:8

God is unwavering. God forgives, even when the offenses pierces deeply. God searches for the best in His beloved, even when it is hard to see. God wants His beloved, even when she don’t want anything to do with Him. God chooses His beloved, even when she choose to walk further away. God sacrifices, even when His beloved wastes herself on other loves. God presses on, even when His beloved wants to give up. God treats His beloved as priceless, even when His beloved hurt Him. God is consistent always. God is love. The epitome of this word is demonstrated by your most glorious King. All that He is is all that is love. True love is unwavering. True love forgives, even when the other person pierces deeply. True love searches for the best in the other person, even when it’s hard to see. True love wants the other person, even when he doesn’t want anything to do with you. True love chooses the other person, even when he chooses to walk further away. True love sacrifices, even when he wastes himself on other loves. True love presses on, even when he wants to give up. True love treats the other person as priceless, even when he hurts you. True love is consistent always. This wondrous love is our example for every day love. Love is such a big word that God personally demonstrated it for us. We truly know our Maker when we love the way He modeled. This is how we're called to love people.
