Look Up

"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”
Matthew 6:34
We spend your time worrying, trying to fix situations ourselves, or we make the conscious effort to avoid the situation or the instigator all together. Pause and realize the shallow mindset here. It’s as if we’re snails on the ground, only able to see the cement below or whatever is directly in front of our eyes. We’re missing the point. These problems and hurts that overwhelm our world are not our purpose on this earth. They’re distractions. They’re battles that are not our fight. While we stare and focus on what’s directly in front of us, we’re absolutely restricting ourselves from seeking God upward, wholeheartedly. The moment we stop fiddling in our problem ourselves, we remove our hands from the mess to hold hands with Christ. That is where our energy belongs-giving our hands, our minds, our time to He who is able. How do we have the capacity to maintain our hurt, our bitterness, our regrets when we give ourselves to be consumed with the God who loves us to such a degree that we cannot understand? Loveless, you have a glorious King to fall in love with. You don’t have time to worry!
